Description

Listen and learn about our amazing local, all-volunteer, 70-piece local symphony! Laura Bouix talks with our host, David Cifarelli, about music, the organizational history, BSO projects and upcoming events.

Their Story - Created in the 1950's, the Brookline Symphony Orchestra, thrived for many years, but went on hiatus in 2001. In 2010, a group of friends dedicated to bringing classical music to the community revived the organization to make it an integral part of the Brookline community and beyond.  They seek to present concerts of the highest quality. Their orchestra members are talented musicians -- amateur, student, and professional -- who volunteer their time to create an organization of which Brookline can be proud.
