In this episode we are talking about Joy as a tool of resistance.

The deaths of George Floyd and other victims of police brutality have sparked protests and triggered trauma for a lot of us. The connection between mental health issues and systemic racism has been explored in several studies, as documented in this link. As a response to the systemic oppression, several activists, such as Audre Lorde, emphasised Self-care as a tool against oppression. I have decided to implement intentional joy in my self-care.
