Description

In the seventh episode of Jason and Robert Watch Old Movies, we pay a visit to BERNIE (2011), Richard Linklater's quirky comedy based on a true story starring Jack Black as a well-liked assistant funeral director who murders a crabby widow in a small Texas town. We discuss the film's use of both real-life and fictional interviews, a rare instance where Linklater doesn't effectively convey the passage of time and why it fell under the radar despite its A-list cast.
