This is a segment of a training I did with one of my men's groups. In the middle of the training, we talked about what "Presence" is for a man and how to cultivate it. There's a breathing exercise you can try at the end. Here are the steps of the breathing exercise:


1.Sit up straight


2.Come into awareness of your breath and notice how you are breathing


3.Imagine the breath moving into different parts of your body. Focus on the gut and pelvic floor


4.Imagine the breath waking up these parts of the body


5.Notice for places of tension, and activity “let it go”. Breathe into that area and let the tension go with the exhale
