A long time ago, in the late 1990s, the Super Bowl halftime show used to suck. Really bad. So for those 12 minutes or so, opposing networks used to offer unique alternative programming to vulture some viewers away from the Super Bowl. The WWF was no exception to these tactics. With the Attitude Era in full swing, the WWF offered a (taped) empty arena world title match between the Rock and Mankind.
