We are all fallen, on our own we have no standing before God. We are all guilty of sin and undone before God. For this we have Jesus, the sinless Son of God who became one of us to offer salvation to all of us. He is the mediator who manifests mercy toward us and meets the Standard of perfection before the Father in Heaven to represent us.
