Listen

Description

This month we are taking a very serious look at journeys that are different than our own.

For each of these stories, we challenge you to be open minded and willing to learn. You don't have to understand someone else's story. But it doesn't make it any less of a powerful story for them.

This conversation is with our friend Leah.

Leah is a happily married mom of 5, raising her babies in suburbia outside of Los Angeles. While her family is picture perfect, and she is living the American dream, Leah has to have conversations with her babies that many of us never even have to think about.

Leah is biracial, and everything from the way her daughters view their hair to the heavy explanations she'll have to give her sons on how careful they need to be around cops, the fact is, the color of skin still defines a different path for people in similar situations.

We really enjoyed this conversation. We invite you to learn and listen, and hope you enjoy it too!
