You ever get lost down the Amazon rabbit hole?
Yesterday, I was looking up a book.
I then clicked on another book.
Then another.
And another.
Finally landed on one, read a review, it mentioned another book (by a well know author).
So I looked that one up, and grabbed myself a copy
I just started it, and it's a short read, but enjoying it so far.
In the beginning he shares how an airplane is off course 90%+ of the time in the air.
I've yapped about this before, as it's a valuable lesson.
However, the airplane still gets to it's destination.
Usually on time.
Unless, you fly Spirit Airlines.
I'm convinced they do not have clocks.
Anywhooo...
The point being, it's ok to be off course, the majority of the time.
A few degrees off course, that is.
You can't take 90 degree right turns (switching business models) every 2 weeks, or you'll never get to your destination.
You'll be flying in circles.
A shitty place to be.
I know as I have gotten caught up in 582 times over the last 8 years.
I still struggle with it.
Back in the spring on 2015, I was doing client works (FB ads for Keller Williams agents).
I was also dabbling in Amazon FBA.
In June of that year, a friend convinced me to give Shopify a try.
After a couple weeks, I launched my first Shopify store.
Made a sale in 24 hours.
I was hooked like a fat kid at an all you can eat ice cream buffet.
At the end of July, I quit Amazon FBA, and stopped taking on clients.
In August, my store did just a bit over $15,000 in sales.
The following month I paid off my car and a truckload of debt.
What do you know...
When you focus on ONE thing...results magically appear.
It involved work, so don't think I was on easy street.
But it showed me what "going all in" can do for your business.
And that be the lesson in today's email -- GO ALL IN
Give it 90 days of focus and consistent daily action on ONE business model.
I damn near guarantee you'll be well on your way.
Now, I am not claiming you'll be able to buy that island you've had your eye on.
However, you'll be so impressed with yourself.
An immense amount of pride, too.
Not to mention, your confidence will skyrocket.
Some might even refer to you as cockiness.
Your piggybank will have more of the green stuff in it.
You'll walk taller.
Feel better.
And look good.
By the way...
The book I was referring to is called How to Develop Your Personal Mission Statement by Steven Covey.
