Dara Stara is an international speaker, transformational workshop facilitator and musician. Leading form her heart, she cuts into the 5 taboos of our society: sex, money, death, truth and power to dissolve what hides underneath plain sight.
Dara has always been a gentle rebel. When she was supposed to be a teenager she sat in sweatlodges, bent spoons and walked on fire. When she was supposed to turn into an elite opera singer, she went to study Singer Songwriter, because that seemed more of a challenge. When she was supposed to get a job, she turned into a unicorn touring Europe and entertaining kids in a musical because she was in love with the director. When she was supposed to get married, she refused all proposals because freedom was her only refuge. When she was supposed to have children, she terminated the pregnancies, because she was too scared of not being ready. She learned only later that there is no such thing as ready, there is only willing.
When she was supposed to be a stay at home mom in a million dollar villa on a holiday island, she left that paradise for an extraordinary life full of love, challenge, laughter and adventure. Because being alive is more important to her than being secure. She refuses to be a number in the system. She refuses to follow what is norm. Her daughter once told her: “If I was you Mami, I would BE you!” So she chooses to follow the wisdom of a 5 year old every God-given day.
