UNITED State of Women is about being a bridge. Part of being that bridge means finding ways to support our community. Amber Kinsey and Sarah PItzer join Kalena James and Julie Deem to share more about this year's mission and why we got involved. Last week Amber Kinsey hosted the inaugural, "Ride to Rebuild" event to raise money for our local Family Service Association's domestic violence shelter. This is a $55,000 project that is backed by the USW organization. Domestic violence affects men and women. The Family Services Association has a domestic violence shelter that takes in families who have nowhere to go after leaving an abusive relationship. In this episode, Amber Kinsey shares why this mission is so important to her and how you can help support us and families in our community. Find out more about this event and how you can support our lofty goal going forward.
