Anna Mitchell chose to battle her Breast Cancer by refusing to listen to any test results or updates from her doctors. Anna would even go so far as to ask her friends to come with her and she would hand over all of the updates to her friend. While some might consider Anna's decision to be denial, Anna views her decision and choosing to ignore anything negative and keep only positive energy around her until losing her breasts.
Given that her journey hasn't gone exactly as she planned, Anna has trusted that her journey is exactly what God planned for her.
