While reading his book The Legacy Letters to his fourth-grade class, teacher, Carew Paptriz, challenged his students to help create the largest Hadn-Written Thank You Letter... the size of a basketball court to be exact.
At the same time, a yearly event was born.
November 14th would go on to be a National Holiday that would transform into video thank you letters during the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic.
