Fourteen years ago Nick battled drugs/addiction, the loss of his brother Christopher from a tragic motorcycle accident, and the loss of his football career and medically had died, leaving Nick feeling disconnected and hopeless. Nick went through multiple detox centers, treatments, and run-ins with the law to fight his addiction but found himself struggling in many ways until one day he met a man who shared a hospital room with him and asked him a question not many would ask about death.
Today Nick is an avid volunteer in his community at the Aris Foundation and the founder of his own non-profit, Lost Ones Found. His community work and dedication to helping other individuals with addiction has brought him on stage speaking at a local high school and sharing his mantra about his journey and outlook on life, "Selflessness above selfishness". Nick's goal is to bridge the gap between substance abuse centers/treatment centers and purpose-driven life.
