PRECIOUS CHILDREN PRECIOUS PARENTS
Children cannot live alone
Children must hold the hand of experience
They must follow the leadership of discipline
They must dwell in the thoughts of the future
They must act upon the goals set of them for them
By them with them
Children cannot try alone
They must be given guidance training
A measurement of their performance
They must attain satisfaction from their actions
They must learn to control their reactions
Emotions and establish the fiber
Of consistency within their character
Children cannot play alone
The formation of a personality values and a character
Is time consuming satisfaction deferred
Taking simple interested care
Developing the young bird
Children cannot learn alone
They need to be taught
They need to follow examples
They need to understand the consequences of their actions
They must learn to stand alone
Yet they must be taught to stand up to atone
Children cannot speak out alone
They must learn to speak out
But they must be taught to speak with dignity
They must learn to establish friendships
But they must be taught the righteous way
They must learn to form love and play
Children cannot love alone
But they must be taught the essence of truth
They must learn to relax and enjoy
But they must be taught to work and to persist
They must learn diligence and allegiance
But they must be taught fidelity
And consequences of infidelity
Children cannot conceive alone
They must learn patience
But they need to be taught prudence
They must learn stability
But they must be taught self-expression
They must learn a craft
But they must be taught how to be creative
They must learn to understand
But they need to be taught how to think
They must learn to have passion
Children cannot believe alone
But they need to be taught morality
They must learn about the future
But they must be taught to live today
They must learn the essence of yesterday
That it is important to conceive to achieve
Children cannot achieve alone
But they must be taught an appreciation of history
They must learn the sky’s the limit
But they must be taught that good will dwells
Only the skilled shall attain the summit
They must learn to be themselves
Parents are themselves children
Both need each other as a friend
But precious children are vulnerable to parents’
Disregard for the fact they are both
Teacher and confidant
But must leave friendship to others
It’s an honor to raise precious children
OF PRECIOUS PARENTS
NEVER TO BE ALONE NOR ATONE
FOR LONLINESS OR UNHOLINESS
As a reflection of precious fathers and mothers
