1. Overview Question: In what ways do you see all of the beatitudes fulfilled in the person and work of Jesus Christ?
2. Jesus declares peacemakers as sons of God, not children of God. In Jewish thought, what is the benefit of holding the title/position of sonship? Whether you are male or female, why is it a privilege to be called sons of God?
3. When was the last time you were insulted, ostracized, or persecuted for expressing your Christian beliefs? What forms of Christian persecution have you or your family experienced?
