Cristiane Machado is Brasilian by birth and a citizen of The Universe by default. She is filled with passion for all types of therapeutic tools that remind us, Human Beings, of our Divine essence.
Cristiane is a dreamer. She believes in a world made out of equality and community where we serve and are served. Where no color, no financial status, no sexual orientation, marital situation or eye color makes one better or less than. With that approach and connecting all the dots of more than 16 years facilitating physical and emotional healing she felt destined to start the YogaLoka project, a non-profit that bridges community through yoga, meditation, and holistic wellness. The project brings these transformative practices to those who have traditionally not had access to them. This includes: individuals who are currently homeless or incarcerated; veterans; survivors of domestic violence and their children; LGBTQ+ communities; and individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to hold space for all individuals to cultivate mental wellness in community.
When she isn’t fundraiser and advocating with the YogaLoka collective, you can find her hosting one of her Yoga retreats around the globe, sharing the power of an attitude of gratitude, awakening Goddesses and empowering warriors of light, surfing, dancing, gathering for Sacred Cacao circles, loving on her handsome son, chasing her dog and cuddling with her cat in her Paradise home in Costa Rica.
