Friday, April 22nd marks the 52nd observance of Earth Day; and for hosting such an important event, April is considered Earth Month. This year’s theme is “Invest in Our Planet.” Join us as we celebrate our magnificent home.
Our featured event is Lectoescritura at Minter Bridge Elementary School. This program brings together parent advisory committee members and other parents once a month to enhance their language skills - specifically reading and writing. Parents read bilingual books and practice reading and writing strategies they can take back home and practice with their children. At the end of each activity, parents receive a free copy of the book.
