In this episode of The Living Artist podcast, Preston talks about the importance of upgrading our "filters" as artists. In order to function as our best selves, artistic and otherwise, we need to learn what elements and information are not serving us well and then eradicate them from our lives. Preston uses the analogy of a bucket filling up, similar to the one used to describe chronic illness. We need to constantly be emptying our bucket, so we can function at our absolute best. Otherwise, toxicity of all sorts can take control of the wheel, leading us down a path that could be detrimental to our health and artistic careers. Listen in and learn how to empty your bucket, as well as upgrade your filter. Enjoy!
