Ken People’s is a social worker and a Certified Financial Social Worker in Philadelphia.
In this episode, we delve into the ongoing debate over the Philadelphia 76ers' proposed arena, "76 Place at Market East." We explore the perspectives of both supporters, who view it as a catalyst for economic growth, and opponents, particularly from the Chinatown community, who express concerns about potential displacement and cultural impacts.
As a result, we discuss genterfication and the purpose of estate planning, keeping wealth within our black and brown communities.
Ken also discusses his project called Project Equity which describes more regarding that issue. More more information to to dynamicjusticecollaborative.org
