In today's episode, I take a slightly deeper dive into this crazy journey called life and look at a few different topics helping one to go from "couch to healthy": 1) nutrition and its role in alleviating disease related issues (we even discuss a little about plant vs. animal protein), 2) motivation, and is it really the answer? Or is it something else? 3) habits and how the heck do we get habits to stick? and 4) this crazy thing called life and tips for getting started with a journey into all things health and creating a new you. I have another wonderful guest helping us sort through all of this, Margaret Steffie. Margaret is a graduate of Kinesiology, currently undertaking her Master’s of Public Health (MPH) studies, as well as a Primal Certified Health Coach and Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
