When I am overwhelmed with stress and neglect to nurture my emotional wellness I have a habit of falling into what I call the sad spiral - this state of negative mood, mindset, and self talk with very little energy or motivation and even an aversion to the very things that would make me feel better (yoga for example). This creeps up on you and before you know it you’re on the verge of a breaking point with no explanation as to why.
