In this message we learn that the Gospel is not what people want to hear. The religious elites of Paul's day did not want to believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah. If they were to accept this inconvenient truth, they would have to surrender their power and prestige gained through enforcing the Law of Moses.
