In ancient cultures each nation or kingdom commissioned watchmen to constantly look for approaching enemies. Here in this message from Isaiah we learn that Israel’s watchmen had gone to sleep and exposed the entire nation to eminent demise. Unfortunately, we are seeing this happening in our nation as well.
