Jackie Faye began her professional career as a journalist. Here, she served as a reporter for local news stations. After years of completing work in this field, Faye decided it was time for a career change. For the past few years, Jackie has been working with women in Afghanistan to empower them and train them in sports as well as to be future leaders. To raise money for her vision, Faye started One January. A clothing line that consists of workout clothes for women. Each of the items from her brand are actually made with recycled plastic. However, Faye will tell those interested in purchasing her items "You would never know that what you will have on is made out of recycled plastic."
