Description

Jessica Heims is a two time Paralympian. She competed in the 2020 Tokyo games and the 2016 Rio games in Track and Field. Although she wasn't able to receive any medals during her time at the Paralympics, she set a world record in 2019. In 2019, Heims set the world record for discus which is something she never thought she would be able to accomplish. Additionally, Heims is a recent newly wed who tied the knot with her husband this past fall 2021. Besides the athletic world. Heims also has a passion for Broadway and musicals. She enjoys going to her family to see shows whether they are in NYC, her home state of Iowa or in Chicago where her sister lives.
