Tori Palin is a musical theatre star. One of her first professional gigs was a production of Rent where she got the opportunity to portray Mimi Marquez. After taking part in this show Palin was hooked and wanted to be in even more productions of the hit Broadway musical, and she was able to do just that. Palin was part of the 20th anniversary national tour of Rent where she was cast as a swing and understudied the roles of Mimi Marquez and Maureen Johnson. In addition to touring the country, Palin and her cast mates got to take the show to Japan and perform in front of sold out audiences that knew little to no english, but still had a deep appreciation for Jonathan Larson's masterpiece. To this day, Palin is still a "Rent Head." and hopes to either participate in the show again and/or witness new audiences discover such a wonderful musicals.
