The final show of Campbell's Footballs for 2020 and the final segment in my Irish League strikers trilogy special comes from the maestro of goals: Joe "The Goal" Gormley. We chat about an interesting year for the Cliftonville striker during lockdown in which he became a father. We then delve into Joe's playing days at Crumlin Star before his love affair with the Reds, his strike partnership with Liam Boyce and the late Tommy Breslin. Joe is a huge lover of Celtic football club and I really enjoyed hearing about his amazing story involving Neil Lennon ahead of the first match at Solitude. Hear more about acquiring James Forrest' shirt and much more. We also hear about Joe's tough time at Peterborough and why a move to St Johnstone spelled a return back to NI.
In the final part we discuss current affairs at the club, working under Gerard Lyttle, Barry Gray and Paddy McLaughlin and the season so far ahead of the big game between Linfield and Cliftonville this weekend.
