In this episode, Inverurie Loco's Neil McLean joins me to discuss his journey in football so far.
Neil started his career at Boys club in Aberdeen for Stoneywood who at the time were one of the most successful teams in the area. Few of the lads around Neil's age went on S-forms to Dundee, Hearts, Aberdeen etc but Neil was never invited or trained with any senior clubs until he was 17 and went to Forfar Atheltic and played youth and reserve league east for them.
Neil Played for Scotland Schoolboys at Under 18's level playing in the home nations centenary cup and then went on a scholarship to the USA attending Hartwick College in New York State for 4 years.
