Journalist Jorge Martín was born in New York City in 1952.
Of Puerto Rican parents, he immigrated to Puerto Rico at the age of five. With studies in Political Science at the University of Puerto Rico, he began his investigative journalism work specializing in the enigma of unidentified flying objects and the alleged extraterrestrial presence in our world in 1975.
Since then, he has investigated hundreds of cases and incidents related to this important issue both in Puerto Rico and abroad.
His works have been published in Puerto Rico, United States of America, England, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Japan, China, Romania, Russia, Poland, Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and other countries.
He represented Puerto Rico at international conferences, congresses and symposia on the UFO phenomenon held in the United States, Europe and Latin American countries and was a consultant in the production of programs and documentaries on the UFO issue and its incidence in Puerto Rico for the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel and programs such as Explorer (National Geographic), Unsolved Mysteries (NBC), Strange Universe (FOX Network) and for specials on Mexican, Ecuadorian, Venezuelan, Japanese, German, English and, in addition to programs for Puerto Rican TV .
He has produced several UFO radio programs in Puerto Rico, and is the author of the books 'El Informe Lazar', 'El Fenómeno EBAs', 'Vieques: Shooting Range of the Third Degree', and is currently writing three other important books on the UFO / extraterrestrial reality of Puerto Rico.
Martín was editor of the Puerto Rican magazines ¡ENIGMA!, Evidencia OVNI, Milenio X, and is currently editor of the magazine 'ENIGMAS del Milenio'.
