On this podcast of Sonshine USA our Bible study teacher Warren Landis expounds from Luke Chapter 1:5-23. Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth were old, well past normal childbearing age. Elisabeth was barren. Zacharias was the Priest. They were a Godly couple. Angel Gabriel appears to Zacharias and tells him that he and his wife were about to have a son. They are to name him John. John the Baptist would have the mission of preparing the world for Jesus. Because of the unbelief of Zechariah, he won't be able to speak until the child is born. God is always able to do the impossible!
