This episode provides a conversation with Deborah Claar, the Assistant Director of the Academic Services Center at Sargent College. As the winner of the 2020 Boston University Undergraduate Academic Advising Award, Claar shared her 30-year experience as an academic advisor at Sargent and her career as a folk singer.
About Boston University Sargent College Academic Services Center: Our Academic Counselors help students with career issues, counseling, academics and suggestions designed to help students balance the variety of activities, academic pursuits and challenges that arise during their academic career. Academic Counselors help with course schedules within students’ majors, but also work with them on processes beyond the standard curriculum such as changing majors, fitting in minors, dual degrees, study abroad, and other academic opportunities.
