In this episode, we welcome Chelsea Cobb (clcobb@bu.edu), a Senior Training Associate at Sargent College Mental Health Programs. She introduces Peer Mentor Interns at the Niteo Program, a wellness, academic and vocational skills-building program that simulates the college experience.

About Chelsea Cobb:

Chelsea Cobb, MA, works in the College Mental Health Programs at the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University. Chelsea is an instructor and college coach within the Niteo Program; a wellness, academic and vocational skills-building program that simulate the college experience. Supporting college students in cultivating resiliency skills in order to develop an individualized path forward. Chelsea also supervises the Peer Mentor Interns, who are Niteo graduates hired back by the center to learn occupational wellness skills. They provide individual and small group support to the Niteo students and direct the activities outside of the classroom. Additionally, she teaches LEAD BU, a wellness and academic seminar helping students learn strategies for academic success, explore values and goals, access campus supports and develop skills for healthy interpersonal relationships.

The moderator of the podcast is Dr. Karen Jacobs (kjacobs@bu.edu), who is the Associate Dean, Digital Learning and Innovation, a Clinical Professor and the Program Director for the on-line post-professional doctorate in the occupational therapy program at Sargent College.
