Michael Perry is a 22 year old young adult college graduate who has committed the next year to serve with www.ShepherdCommunity.org in their full-time / paid / housing provided / 10 meals a week Fellowship program living in community with others. Their mission: joining God in what he is already doing to break the cycle of poverty on the near Eastside of Indianapolis. Michael was looking at serving overseas in efforts to support refugees and the twists and turns of following Christ led him to be a missioner in his home country context. About the Organizer: Kenny Wade works with Shepherd Community Center as their Young Adult Connection Pastor (remote). While getting to know and encouraging the current young adults a part of Shepherd's Fellowship he also networks with leaders across USA/Canada to bolster young adult ministry efforts and invitations to serve with Shepherd as interns, fellows, or short-term team opportunities.
