Description

Our grief will follow us into different stages of our lives and sometimes, it isn't until we look back on our journey that we realise our thoughts and actions at the time were a part of our grief process.

Following on from the conversation I had with her sister Varsha last episode, Seema shares with us what it was like to experience the death of her father to suicide as a 4 year old, to then experiencing the death of her mother as an adult. We have an open conversation about the stories we can sometimes tell ourselves and others, how grief shows up in different ways during various life stages and how therapy and a strong network can provide support during times of grief and loss.

If you, or anyone you care for is in need of support, please reach out to your local support line or if you are in Australia, you can contact Griefline by phone on 1300 845745 who are available from midday to 3am everyday.
