Slow progress is coming from the lockout, but still nothing much. This week we did hear from people about different views of the lockout and what progress has been made and what has been lost. Manfraud thinks the lockout will end before spring training, but it doesn't look like that'll happen. Discussions of how to stop tanking was talked about and Scotty discusses his views. The legendary umpire Joe West official retires now with the most games officiated. We also saw Vlad Sr turn 47 and the sad loss of Jermey Giambi.
