Description

When we experience chronic trauma and don't have the tools to move through it we can move into states of Nervous System Dysregulation. 

Which is referring to the Sympathetic & Parasympathetic Nervous system pathways. 

Sympathetic refers to fight and flight response. This heightens our focus, creates a stressful state, hyper-vigiliance/awareness, negative bias, and worry, and the brain constantly searches for danger. 

Parasympathetic is rest and digest. Our nervous system can only move there when it believes we are safe. To move it there messaging the vagus nerve in our necks, tapping, focusing on feeling and experiencing any one of the senses.
