On this episode, I have a conversation with my brotha, Cincinnati’s own, TJ Howell (@tj_howell_2). We talk about his childhood as a dual-sport athlete playing both baseball & football. TJ was no stranger to hard work and being undersized on the football field he knew he needed to add more to his game, although baseball was his first love. We also talk about his college experiences and how transferring from Notre Dame College to Tiffin University would ultimately derail his chances of playing collegiate football. His love for the game of football would not let him give up on pursuing his dream playing short stints in the Arena Football League as well as Semi-Pro. He has now reestablished himself as a father, entrepreneur, & life coach by giving back through his program, The Gifted Performance (@thegiftedperformance). Another story of a young black man not giving up when his dream was shattered and chose to create his own lane for not only himself, but the next generation!
