On this episode, I have a conversation with my brotha, Edmonton Eskimos quarterback, Antonio “Pip” Pipkin (@t_pip2). Hailing from Gary, IN where he played basketball, baseball, and football growing up, he had to beg his mother to let him play football. A decision I’m sure they are both pleased with to this day because of the opportunities he has had and currently getting from the sport of football. In this episode we talk about his childhood years playing all three sports, any pressure to give one up, his legendary basketball and football teams at his high school alma matter, Thea Bowman Leadership Academy and his experiences at Tiffin University and ultimately professionally. I had the pleasure of playing my last two seasons of college ball with Pip at Tiffin University and witnessed first hand how great he could be and now is! Signed with the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent in 2017 and spent 2 seasons with CFL’s Montreal Alouettes. I am looking forward to watching you tear it up this season in the CFL with the Edmonton Eskimos and hope to see you back in the NFL one day!
