I really appreciate my brotha Ramsey Beard for this very important history lesson. I am upset with myself for not knowing this, mainly because I spent my childhood in this neighborhood, grew up in this neighborhood once known as “Black Bottom” and had no idea it was this historic. I think that’s pretty dope so again, I THANK YOU my brotha!
