I am a man,

I am a human being,
A person with meaning.

Especially when it's all said and done,
I don't have to prove my intelligence,
Nor do I have to prove my relevance.
I will always be outspoken and never bite my tongue,
I will not have fear and I will not run,
My ambition will always be there,
For challenges I will always be prepared.
I don't need to be a star for anyone to acknowledge me,
Approval is not what I seek,
I know what I can become and I know what I already am,
I am courageous, I am ambitious, I am powerful, I am a man.
