Imagine being in a jail cell and asked by not just one but three powerful people to interpret their dreams. Not super relatable I know. But when it was Joseph’s time to trust God and faithfully represent him to the powerful— he didn’t back down.
Faithfulness to God’s calling may look a lot different for us than for a young man unjustly imprisoned in ancient Egypt. But some things are the same like loving and serving people without expecting anything in return. Faithfulness isn’t always easy, but when the Spirit of God helps us— even our faltering efforts can make much of Jesus in a world that needs to know Him.
