Happy Women’s History Month, muses! In our post-modern society, the definition of womanhood and femininity has been redefined. From the boss chic flexing on social media to the strong independent woman anthems that we belt out with fierce conviction, women especially black women are constantly being bombarded with agendas that glorify over sexualization and hyper independence. On the flip side, there has been a resurgence of the hypergamy movement and “soft girl era” in the digital world that is reminiscent of the early to mid 20th centuries. Join me where I share my personal take on modern womanhood in the 21st century and I am learning how to reclaim my worth as a woman and how you can, too!
