On this episode of AOS I sat down with Brenton & Tyneille from Northside Jiu Jitsu in Ellenbrook. Brenton & Tyneille each spoke about their individual experiences with martial arts, as well as the path taken to end up opening their own academy. We spoke about the challenges of owning an academy, including the balance of being a friend, coach, mentor and business owner. It was a great experience attending a class at Northside Jiu Jitsu, the vibes on the mats were great! Shout out to Dion for sharing his knowledge and teaching the class on Saturday, as well as all the crew there on the day! It was a heap of fun.
