Time perspective - Horizontal vs Vertical point of view ► As you probably know I am an online instructor at the NAS Academy where I teach people from around the world how to create videos. I had a chat with 2 fellow instructors and, "smelled" something curious and started recording the conversation. Get this: most countries use a horizontal time perspective. For example, the future is ahead of us & the past is behind us. However, in some countries, like China, that is not the case. In China, the past is up and the future is down. This may sound confusing, as it was very confusing for me, but listen to this podcast and it will all make sense.
