Description

In this episode, Cassidy and Daniela talk about the common myths surrounding homeschooled children and debunk each point. They share their Biblically founded as well as personal motives behind why they homeschool, rooting their talk in Proverbs 22:6 and Deuteronomy 11:18-21.  Some of these myths include: Homeschooled children't aren't socialized; They are shielded from the "real world"; They aren't as educated, intelligent or can't go to college: You have to be wealthy to homeschool; Homeschooled kids are "weird"; Homeschooling is a cover-up for child abuse. They share a counter-argument to each of the points above and also share some of their own personal experiences with the institutionalized educational system.  Although they are strong believers in homeschooling and encourage other parents to consider this lifestyle choice, they make it abundantly clear that they do not impose their views and preferences on anyone. We hope you find this episode informative and thought-provoking!
