New cases of the coronavirus were reported in Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington state, New York and Florida yesterday, bringing the total in the United States to 89. Schools are closed for cleaning this week in Seattle, Portland, and Rhode Island. Both Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Washington Gov. Jay Inslee declared a state of emergency.
