The second beast, a bear, symbolizes the Medo-Persian Empire. The third beast, a leopard with four wings, represents Greece and Alexander the Great. The fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, represents the Roman Empire. The little horn that arises from the ten horns of the fourth beast represents the Antichrist. The chapter also explores God's judgment and the end times.
