When I began working with Evie 4 years ago, her primary focus was to create a physical change in her body. Like most people, she would try something new, and when the results didn’t show up fast enough, she gave up.
Evie was going through this constant battle with herself. Whenever she was met with a new challenge or exercise, her internal monologue was one of discouragement and thinking that she wasn’t athletic enough to do it.
Where did this come from? Turns out that she was voted as “Most Unathletic” when she was in high school and she’d been carrying this label ever since.
2 years later Evie returned to my gym a different person. Her focus was no longer on aesthetics, but on performance, strength, and feeling better overall.
Today, Evie has made a massive transformation! She is a total badass in the gym and takes on any and every challenge.
