So often we focus on things like putting in the work or crushing it at the gym that we forget about the most important aspect to living a healthy lifestyle - sleep.


Sleep is crucial when it comes to recovery, muscle building, optimizing gut health, regulating hormones and even managing stress, and for many of us, especially women, once we start to take on the responsibility of having children sleep becomes less and less important to us.


Sleep is so important, infact,  that I decided to bring on another sleep expert to the Fall In Love with Fitness Podcast, Dr. Carol Yuan-Declair.


Dr. Carol is a Board Certified physician in pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, and sleep. She has worked in both private practice and in hospital settings, treating patients with sleep disorders.


She has dedicated her scientific curiosity to helping women get better sleep so they can live fuller and play harder.


Dr. Carol is the founder of B. Hai Sleep Health - a telehealth sleep consultation service for women. Named after her daughter, Bee Hai, it is a gesture that represents the next generation of women. Dr. Carol believes that women are the backbone of society, and when women are at their best, all of society benefits.
