We live in a world where pleasure and pain are constantly at odds. For many of us, trying to find the balance between these two extremes can be difficult, leading to unhealthy habits like binge eating, drug abuse, or out-of-control eating. The quest for pleasure and avoidance of pain may have us neglecting our own physical and emotional well-being. But what if we could design a world where we can thrive from within, even during pain?
The pain may not go away as fast as you want, but telling yourself a new story will allow you to build your faith and get back up. Sometimes your capacity might shrink for a while, and it’s okay to put a pause, but you have to pick yourself up to continue living. Don’t allow pain to cripple or steal from your future. Tell it where to go, turn it into a purpose and change your life. Pain takes time to heal, but it gets easier when you focus on shifting your pain into a purpose. Finding your purpose is the answer to your pain.
